STUCCO

EuroMasonry was excellent in all aspects and I would highly recommend them as your only stop for chimney repair. In my case they did tuck point on most of my one chimney as well as some touch up on the second chimney.

Jozo was fantastic to work with. He was the only contractor that took the time to figure everything out when he came to give an estimate. He started on the day he told me was going to start. He always came when he told me he would come. The quality of his work was impeccable. We could not have been happier. We would hire Jozo again in a heartbeat.

Jozo's bid was also well below the next lowest bid, and I would have been suspicious of that if I hadn't already read such good things about him on this site.  I'm absolutely sure I made the best decision.  Jozo gave me a date when he would begin, and then he was able to start a day earlier.  He tore out the old patio and saved almost 100% of the existing stones.  A couple of them broke in two, but like he said, they were still good.  He pressure-washed the stones so they would look new again.  He had to remove the old concrete which wasn't a solid slab, but it was still a lot of work.  He dug out the existing gravel to make room for a proper slab and made sure the patio was basically level with just a little slope for water runoff. The new concrete was poured and leveled with reinforcing rebar and mesh to prevent future cracking. Then the old flagstones were mortared in place along with some new ones (to fill the area created when tighter gaps were used compared to the original patio). He also put some rainbow rock pea gravel in the mortar joints to add a little color; these complement the three rivers flagstone very nicely.  Finally, there are two adjacent stepping stone paths with the same flagstones in decorative gravel.  I asked him to raise the stepping stones up a bit with the excavated gravel, and then he used some extra decorative gravel I had left over to make everything at the same level as the new patio.  This last part was not actually in the bid, but he did not charge me for it.  I don't know if he feels like he underbid the job, but I think I got more than my money's worth!  I was so grateful, I tipped him a nice pair of Timbers tickets after learning that he is a soccer fan.  I'm really happy with the whole experience, and the end result is a fantastic patio.

It went perfectly. Jozo is the consummate professional -- fast, easy to work with, totally reliable, and a true perfectionist when it comes to his work. The fireplace is safe and beautiful now.

"Great people to work with, and with the best price out of 4 bidders."
